Performance Bio:

Mistress “M” has been expressing herself through creative fashion and performance since her teenage years, even while developing a parallel career as a scientist!  She is a versatile "Jill of All Trades" who enjoys creating abstract performance art in addition to more theatrical and thematic pieces. Mistress M thoroughly enjoys immersing herself in all aspects of performing, management and production. She also is known for creating a myriad of looks and "personas" through costuming – where she often compensates for her mediocre sewing ability through creative usage of various hardware items (wire, duct tape, etc.).

Mistress M resides in the greater Portland (Maine) area and has been a frequent performer in the local arts and club scene for nine years.  She has served as co-coordinator for PV-SCENE's stage shows at several Portland clubs—including Zootz, The Underground, Asylum, The Skinny, Styxx, and Geno’s—and she has contributed to the Boston-area scene as a dancer and performer at ManRay.  She has also danced locally in multiple Vivid Motion productions and acted in Boston-based independent cinema.  Her most recent and current work focuses on producing expressionist performance art pieces for art shows, multi-genre dance showcases, and other selected events throughout Northern New England.
